Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Operations leader for the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. You will oversee all banquet activities, ensure flawless event execution, and collaborate with kitchen, AV and sales teams to meet client specifications and hotel standards.

In this role you will manage staff, handle budgets and ensure safety and cleanliness across banquet areas, while delivering outstanding guest experiences and contributing to the property’s success within a growing portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, setup, execution and breakdown of all banquet events.
• Ensure banquet spaces are properly arranged according to client specifications and hotel standards.
• Work with the kitchen, audio-visual and sales team to ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization in all banquet areas.
• Collaborate with the sales team and meet with clients to discuss event details and requirements.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or last-minute changes professionally.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among associates.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise banquet servers, bartenders and housepersons.
• Manage banquet budgets, control labor costs and optimize profitability.
• Track food and beverage consumption and ensure inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
