The LINE is seeking a dynamic Banquets Houseperson (part-time) to join our hotel team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in the event spaces, assist with setup and breakdown, and maintain clean, well-organized banquet areas in accordance with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Collaborative spirit and teamwork.
• Professional demeanor and ethical conduct.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera PMS.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and maintain professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of event equipment.
• Ensure event spaces are clean and properly arranged.
• Coordinate with staff and departments to deliver service excellence.
• Replenish event supplies during breaks.
• Attend pre-function meetings and follow event flow.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and maintain safety awareness.
• Provide support to guests to ensure memorable experiences.
