Loews Kansas City Hotel in downtown Kansas City is seeking a proactive Banquet Houseperson to deliver flawless event setups. You’ll arrange tables, chairs, staging and décor, ensuring every space shines for weddings, corporate galas and other functions.

In a fast-paced, hands-on environment, you’ll collaborate with banquet leaders and event teams, adapt to last‑minute changes, maintain spotless storage and banquet areas, and greet guests with a professional, can‑do attitude.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in event setup.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume banquet environment.
• Willingness to lift, move, and set up equipment and furniture as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute room setups and breakdowns based on BEOs, including tables, chairs, staging, and décor.
• Ensure furniture and equipment are placed safely and correctly for events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet and storage areas.
• Perform regular inspections of event spaces before, during, and after functions.
• Assist with light maintenance of banquet equipment and report issues to leadership.
• Respond to guest and team requests during events, including last-minute changes.
