Job summary

The Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is seeking a Banquet Houseperson responsible for setting up, refreshing, tearing down and maintaining all meeting spaces.

This full-time, hourly role in Baton Rouge, LA requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, with an emphasis on guest service and safety. Education of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Exceptional teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to work well under pressure and with guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet spaces.
• Ensure correct and timely setup of Banquet Event Orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of banquet areas and storage spaces.
• Move and store tables, chairs and equipment after functions.
• Refresh meeting rooms as needed and follow safety rules.
