Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet spaces. You will prepare rooms according to event specifications and help ensure a positive guest experience through cleanliness and organization.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior banquet/event setup experience is preferred and audio-visual basics are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or event setup experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms are prepared.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function rooms per event specifications.
• Break down rooms and return equipment to storage after events.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces and assist servers and bartenders as needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to keep front and back-of-house areas orderly.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
