Hotel Nikko San Francisco is seeking a Part-Time Banquet House Person to set up and break down banquet rooms according to guest requests. You will be responsible for room setups, handling equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting guests with issues as they arise.

Primary duties include transporting and arranging furniture, glassware and supplies, ensuring safety standards, and supporting event staff throughout functions.

Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills for handling quantities and currencies.

Responsabilités

• Set up meeting and banquet rooms following instructions and diagrams.
• Transport tables, chairs, glassware and boxes between storage and rooms.
• Attend events before and during functions to provide service.
• Break down rooms after functions and return equipment to storage.
• Ensure rooms are clean and meet hotel standards; replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain safe and tidy work area and report problems promptly.
• Interact courteously with guests, supervisors and co-workers.
• Assist with guest requests or resolve issues when possible.
