Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a banquet server to provide food and beverage service for banquets, setting up the room per specifications and breaking down after functions. The role requires the ability to stand and walk for the shift, lift up to 40 pounds, and push/pull carts up to 100 pounds, with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet; table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverage items to guests using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts.
• Prepare and set up condiments.
• Break down banquet room upon completion of function; remove soiled dishes, glassware and silverware and transport to dishwashing area
