Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a banquet server to provide food and beverage service for banquets, setting up the room per specifications and breaking down after functions. Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving items, and handling condiments with attention to cleanliness and safety.

The role requires the ability to stand and walk for the shift, lift up to 40 pounds, and push/pull carts up to 100 pounds, with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.

Job Description

Serve food and beverages to banquet guests. Set up banquet functions by setting tables with linens, dishes, flatware, and glassware according to banquet order. Break down banquet functions by clearing tables and transporting used items to appropriate areas to be cleaned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to push and/or pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
