Job summary

Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is seeking a Banquet Attendant to ensure function rooms are prepared to guest expectations and Omni standards. You will set up, break down, and reset spaces for banquets and conventions, coordinating with other departments to deliver seamless service.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift and move items, and flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Prior banquet experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs on a regular basis.
• Flexible shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain meeting rooms.
• Refresh meeting rooms during meals and breaks.
• Complete final breakdown of meeting room.
• Clean and return equipment to proper location.
• Must follow Banquet Event Order instructions and assist other departments as needed.
