Job summary

OTH Hotels Resorts is seeking a Banquet Staff member to deliver high-quality food and beverage service during events, including setup, service, and breakdown. The role supports the full event lifecycle with attention to guest satisfaction and presentation.

You will work in a fast-paced banquet environment, indoors and outdoors, coordinating with the banquet captain and kitchen staff to ensure smooth event execution and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of food and beverage experience required; banquet or event service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per event orders and service standards.
• Drape tables, set silverware, fold napkins, and arrange centerpieces.
• Prepare service stations and ensure readiness for meal service.
• Serve food and beverages using plated, buffet, or passed service.
• Carry trays and deliver items while maintaining presentation.
• Adapt service style based on meal period (continental breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Provide friendly, attentive service throughout events and respond to guest requests.
• Clear and reset tables, maintain cleanliness and organization of spaces.
• Break down banquet rooms and restore spaces to original condition.
• Communicate with banquet captain and kitchen staff; attend pre-shift meetings.
