Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Culinary Banquet Supervisor for Thompson Austin to oversee the banquets team, functions, and hourly kitchen staff. You will ensure timely, high-quality banquet service, supervise set-up and breakdown, and train staff in accordance with Hyatt standards.

Formación

• Requires refined communication skills, strong leadership and relationship skills.
• 3+ years of previous banquet experience preferred.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Open and flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and passion for teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach the team towards exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
• Inspect the set-up of meeting and banquet functions against the Banquet Event Order.
• Supervise and assist with set-up of assigned banquet functions to meet Hyatt standards and ensure efficient service.
• Assist in service of banquet functions as required.
• Assist in banquet set-up as required.
• Supervise and assist with breakdown after functions to ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies.
• Inspect sanitation of all function space and storage areas to maintain high cleanliness and organization.
• Produce a consistent, quality product that meets guests' needs promptly.
• Monitor daily food production, ordering, cost, and quality.
