Job summary

The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking experienced Banquet Cooks to join our culinary team. Open availability is required for AM & PM shifts, weekends and holidays as we support weddings, conferences, and large events.

As a Banquet Cook, you will work with the Banquet Chef and culinary team to execute meals for scheduled functions, ensuring quality, presentation and event timelines are met while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, conference center, banquet, catering or high-volume kitchen environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and manage multiple event timelines.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet food according to recipes, specifications and event requirements.
• Review upcoming banquet functions and assist with mise en place and prep.
• Support high-volume buffet, plated, reception and special-event production.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure food is ready on time and maintains quality.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and workplace safety requirements.
