Join us to apply for the Banquet Cook - Full Time role at Flying Horse Resort & Club.

Flying Horse Resort and Club, located in Colorado Springs, offers luxury amenities including golf courses, a hotel, spa, and fine dining. We seek dedicated professionals passionate about hospitality to join our team.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute food for banquets and events, including guest interactions at action stations.
  • Follow Food Health and Safety regulations and sanitation policies.
  • Organize ingredients per BEO, ensuring quality standards.
  • Cook according to recipes, standards, and presentation expectations.
  • Utilize diverse culinary techniques.
  • Prioritize guest and member requests.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures.
  • Maintain and store banquet equipment properly.
  • Support inventory management.
  • Provide constructive feedback and communicate professionally with BOH and FOH staff.
  • Handle opening/closing procedures and cleaning schedules.
  • Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Mentor peers as appropriate.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
  • At least two years of commercial kitchen experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
