Overview

As a Banquet Cook, you will hold an essential position in our restaurant. You will be part of a growing and caring team, preparing delicious meals according to our unique recipes and plating specifications, which are crucial for creating a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities include prepping, cooking, dressing dishes, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work area.

Responsibilities
  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking (peeling, chopping, julienne, brunoise, cross chopping, etc.).
  • Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products.
  • Cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products accurately and efficiently.
  • Cook food using various utensils or grillers (stir frying, grilling, roasting, baking, sautéing, poaching, simmering, etc.).
  • Follow recipes and plating guides to ensure consistency.
  • Ensure food is prepared simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  • Maintain a sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
  • Manage storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures.
  • Break down the kitchen line, store food, and clean and sanitize equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Practice safe work habits to prevent injuries.
  • Follow all health, safety, and storage regulations.
  • Support other kitchen positions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
