The Hotel Cleveland, a Marriott Autograph Collection property opened in 1918, is seeking an experienced Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare food items following production standards and quality expectations while maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. The hotel features 491 renovated rooms and 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare food of consistent quality according to recipes and standards
• Start pre-prepared food items, managing quantities appropriately
• Label, date, and rotate food containers; maintain proper temperatures
• Check inventory levels, prepare necessary items, and assist with buffet stock
• Store unused food properly, covering and dating perishables
• Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, and food processors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

• Minimum one year of culinary experience
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred certifications: TABC, Tips, Food Handlers
• Organized with a sense of urgency and focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
