Job summary

Marcus Corporation seeks a Banquet Chef for Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Wisconsin. You will train, supervise, and work with culinary staff to prepare high-volume banquet menus according to standard recipes and resort quality.

The position requires 3–5 years of managerial experience in a hotel or resort kitchen, strong knowledge of food production, safety standards, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Managerial and production experience in a hotel or resort.
• 3–5 years in management of high-volume production in multiple outlets.
• Thorough knowledge of food products and standard recipes.
• Experience with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties to associates for efficient kitchen operation.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in menu preparation.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, storage and rotation of food.
• Adhere to cost and quality control procedures.
• Oversee daily sanitation and safety practices.
• Assist in equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
