Job summary

The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation in Arlington, Texas is seeking a Banquet Catering Cook to prepare high-quality food for our fast-paced café, private events, banquets, catering functions, and special events. This role requires a culinary professional who can work efficiently in a high-volume, fine-dining environment with strong attention to food safety and presentation.

You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation while maintaining top sanitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary education or 2+ years in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining/catering setting preferred.
• Must read, speak and write in English.
• Texas Food Handler license within 14 days of start date.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor instructions for opening/closing and prep.
• Prepare food items according to portion size and quality standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation of work areas.
• Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent service for events.
