Qualifications

• High School education is the minimum requirement.
• At least 1 year in a hotel customer service role.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director for the performance of all hourly banquet servers and act as the hotel’s representative to banquet guests.
• Provide ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.
• Coordinate all aspects of room/facilities setup, including audio/visual and F&B to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and personal representative of the hotel to banquet guests.


• Provides ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.


• Expected to coordinate all aspect of the room/facilities set-up, including audio/visual and F&B so that all efforts are directed toward guest satisfaction, the achievement/maintenance of division standards and profit maximization.


• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education


• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel customer service role


• Food safety certification preferred


• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

• Ability to provide legible communication and directions
