• Over 5 years of experience in Banquets at a comparable hotel.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Delphi.
• Strong background in administration including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and guests, ensuring timely and friendly service.

The monumental CapitalHilton is looking for their next Banquet Captain

This hotel features 559 guestrooms and suites and boasts 30,0000 square feet of meeting space. Their space features 16 individual meeting rooms with their largest ballroom at 14,652 square feet. This hotel has been welcoming the worlds travelers for conventions and leisure for over 75 years.

Our ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Banquets at a hotel comparable in quality or higher to the Capital Hilton. Candidates must be proficient in Salesforce/Delphi and have a strong administrative background, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Shift Pattern: Various, must be available weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $29.07 per hour

What will I be doing?:

· Supervise food and beverage service throughout banquet functions to ensure quality service and product quality

· Assist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions including, but not limited to, breakfast, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.

· Greet and welcome client representative and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

· Participate in and lead department meetings

· Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment using the hotels software programs.

· Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service

· Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
