Job summary

Atrium is seeking a dedicated banquet team member to join our Food & Beverage department in La Vista, NE. You will assist with setup, service flow, and ensuring guest experiences meet our high standards.

Responsibilities include leading the banquet team, coordinating schedules, and contributing to a smooth operation from coffee breaks to full-service dinners. Prior banquet exposure, reliable teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Banquet service experience (6+ months) preferred.
• Leadership potential to guide a team.
• Food and alcohol certifications or willingness to complete within 90 days.
• Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and walking.

What You Will Do

• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision - clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china only, please.
• Coordinate the flow of service like a pro, ensuring meals are served smoothly and on time.
• Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
• Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting - yes, you'll be part tech support too.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.

What We Are Looking For

• Customer service experience - because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
• At least 6 months of banquet food service experience - you need to have seen a plated dinner or two.
• Leadership potential or experience - you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
• Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days) - because safety is always in style.
• Physical stamina - this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
