Job summary

Atrium Hospitality in Cary, NC is seeking a banquet service professional to lead the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring clean linens, polished silverware, and flawless service.

You will coordinate the flow of service, mentor the banquet team, handle audio-visual setup, and assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly. Candidates should have 6+ months banquet experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required; guest satisfaction is crucial.
• Banquet food service experience (6+ months) is expected.

• Food and alcohol certifications or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with attention to detail (linens, silverware, china).

• Coordinate the flow of service like a pro, ensuring meals are served smoothly and on time.
• Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top‑notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full‑service dinners.
• Handle audio‑visual setup and troubleshooting—yes, you’ll be tech support too.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.

What We Are Looking For:

• Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
• At least 6 months of banquet food service experience—we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
• Leadership potential or experience—you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
