Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a banquet supervisor at Lincoln Embassy Suites in Lincoln, NE for a full-time on-site role. You will lead the setup and breakdown of events, coordinate service flow, and guide a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.

The position requires banquet service experience, strong customer service, leadership potential, and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision—clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china.
• Coordinate the flow of service to ensure meals are served smoothly and on time.
• Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
• Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting—yes, you’ll be tech support too.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision—clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china only, please.
• Coordinate the flow of service like a pro, ensuring meals are served smoothly and on time.
• Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
• Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting—yes, you’ll be tech support too.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.

What We Are Looking For:

• Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
• At least 6 months of banquet food service experience—we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
• Leadership potential or experience—you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
• Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days)—because safety is always in style.
• Physical stamina—this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
