Position: Banquet Captain

Location: Spokane, WA

Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00

Overview

Ensure professional execution of banquets, meetings, and functions of all types and sizes, providing high guest satisfaction, superior service, and a high-quality product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians' policies and internal controls.
• Review client needs and special requests to deliver flawless performances while maintaining high standards.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, staying organized and focused.
• Attend weekly BEO meetings in the absence of a manager or supervisor.
• Coordinate special arrangements with relevant departments.
• Assist banquet team members to ensure superior guest service.
• Knowledge of food and wine for service training.
• Assign setup and teardown duties to staff.
• Organize clearing stations and back-of-house operations.
• Work with culinary team on food displays and buffet setups.
• Inspect the ambiance to meet client needs.
• Ensure tables are set according to standards and client requirements.
• Greet clients and communicate with them during their event in the absence of a supervisor.
• Present billing to guests as needed.
