Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina seeks an on-call Banquet Bartender with a passion for hospitality and excellence. The role supports luxury events, crafting wines, spirits and cocktails with expert knowledge and precise preparation while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have fluent English, at least 2 years in a similar luxury environment, strong communication and computer skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits and mixed drinks from the menu, following established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the POS system; verify orders with the guest’s original order.
• Describe items with engaging detail, including origin, taste and preparation methods; maintain knowledge of liquors, wines and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensure satisfaction, and respond promptly to concerns and requests.
• Close guest checks accurately; process payments and settle voided items.

Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a On-Call Banquet Bartender who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Banquet Bartender reports to the Director of Banquets and serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.

What you will do

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest's original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item's, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

What you will bring

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
• Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
