Job description

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service during events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. This role involves setting up and breaking down the bar, preparing and serving drinks efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to all alcohol service regulations.

What You'll Do:

1. Engage in casual conversation, demonstrate creativity, and build on your personal style.
2. Assess guest needs and preferences, making appropriate recommendations.
3. Comply with state and local alcohol serving guidelines.
4. Be knowledgeable about drink ingredients and preparation techniques.
5. Be well-versed in hotel information, including other restaurants and amenities.
6. Customize the guest experience by understanding and accommodating unique needs.
7. Pay attention to the appearance and presentation of beverages.
8. Ensure the bar and surrounding area are clean and well-maintained.
9. Be resourceful and go above and beyond to fulfill guest requests.
10. Communicate guest concerns or issues to managers and supervisors.
11. Maintain a clean and presentable environment for all guests.
12. Adhere to hotel and departmental standards, including attendance, cash handling, and side work.
13. Ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
