Job summary

Country Inn & Suites of Mankato is seeking customer-focused individuals who enjoy delivering excellent guest service. The Bartender’s primary responsibility is to uphold the restaurant’s high standards by providing top-quality service to guests.

The Bartender will prepare and serve beverages in a professional manner, maintain a clean bar atmosphere, and adhere to state and local liquor laws. Flexible hours, competitive pay, and eligibility for benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must provide professional and courteous guest service.
• Must manage time well and work with minimal supervision.
• Must multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate clearly.
• Must maintain a positive and professional attitude during all interactions.
• Must interact with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Must have basic computer skills and math abilities.
• Must have Alcohol Awareness training or willingness to complete on hire.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assists guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Performs duties within budgetary guidelines.
• Prepares beverages according to standards and complies with liquor laws.
• Checks IDs and monitors alcohol consumption.
• Follows all customer service, beverage and cash handling policies.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and complies with regulations.
• Plans for the following day by checking inventory.
