The Bartender’s primary responsibility is to uphold the restaurant’s high standards of excellence by providing the highest quality of service to guests. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner. The Bartender is also responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting bar atmosphere while adhering to quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
The Bartender works primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. This position requires continuous standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending and reaching throughout the entire shift. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping, working with sharp objects (knives), exposure to standard cleaning chemicals, high noise volumes and interacting with intoxicated guests. All restaurant employees are required to wear rubber-soled shoes and must follow proper safety precautions at all times to avoid injuries.
