Job summary

University of Notre Dame is seeking a Banquet Bartender to serve beverages at a variety of events across campus. You will prepare drinks, monitor bar supplies, and assist with setup and teardown, delivering exceptional hospitality to guests.

Eligible candidates must have or be eligible for an Indiana Bartender’s license, strong time management, excellent communication, and the ability to stand for extended periods. The position offers a pay rate of $17.50/hr plus gratuity.

Qualifications

Must be eligible to obtain a valid Indiana Bartender’s license.
Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
Positive, respectful, and committed to the schedule you create.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).
Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

Prepare drinks for guests in a fast-paced environment.
Monitor/stock bar supplies.
Assist with setting up/tearing down events.
Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to guests.
Assist catering team as needed (working events such as buffets, served meals and receptions)
