Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Banquet Bartender to deliver outstanding beverage service at our banquet and catering events. You will advocate for the bar, craft personalized experiences, and build relationships that encourage guests to return.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promptly serve food and beverages.
• Pour drinks per specifications and process orders in the POS system.
• Prepare and serve beverages to banquet guests per recipes and standards.
• Set up and break down banquet bars, stock and clean as required.
• Verify guest IDs to ensure legal alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas following safety guidelines.
• Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible service.
• Record and process transactions and manage beverage inventory.
• Communicate with banquet staff to ensure seamless service.
• Provide courteous, professional service and respond to guest requests.
• Adhere to hotel policies and local laws on alcohol handling.
• Perform other duties to support banquet operations.
