Job summary

Northwood Hospitality in West Hollywood is seeking Banquet Bartenders to prepare and serve beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards. You will handle beverage preparation, maintain clean work areas, and ensure guest safety by recognizing intoxicated guests, while also staying knowledgeable about hotel menus and banquet operations.

The role requires prior experience in the field, a high school diploma or equivalent, and post-hire RBS and Food Handler certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in related field required.
• RBS and Food Handlers certificates required post hire.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages for guests in a timely manner and to standard.
• Ensure consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality.
• Exercise good judgment in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
• Maintain coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly.
• Interact with guests and patrons.
• Ensure all working areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant or lounge.
• Maintain knowledge of all menus within the hotel.
• Maintain stock and supplies of the banquet bar.
