Job summary

The Bridgewater Club LLC in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hospitality team. You will professionally prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, greet members, and help ensure exceptional events and member experiences.

Requirements include 21+, valid liquor license, knowledge of liquors, beer and wine, weekend availability, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long shifts. Prior bartending is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or bartending experience required.
• Working knowledge of liquors, beer and wine.
• Knowledge of beverage cost/pouring procedures.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid liquor license.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to connect with guests.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for long periods (up to ~12 hours).
• Weekend availability.
• Server permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Stocks supplies as needed following club procedures.
• Set up and tear down bars in various spaces.
• Follows opening/closing checklists for the bar area assigned every shift.

• Reports comments or complaints to manager on duty.
• Maintains and cleans bar with proper opening/closing duties.
• Maintains record of liquors, beers, wines, and tobacco to ensure stock maintenance.
• All other duties as assigned by Management.

• Consistently complies with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies
• Stocks additional supplies as needed following club procedures
• Set up and tear down bars in various spaces
• Follows opening and closing checklists for the bar area assigned every shift
• Greets members and guests by name and exceeds their expectations
• Reports comments or complaints to manager on duty as they occur
• Maintains and cleans bar with proper opening and closing duties
• Maintains record of liquors, beers, wines, tobacco to ensure stock maintenance
• Any and all other duties as assigned by Management.
