Thornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking a friendly Banquet Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service at weddings, golf outings, corporate events, and other special occasions. The ideal candidate is professional, outgoing, and thrives in a fast-paced event setting.

This part-time position offers an energetic work environment at a premier Wisconsin venue managed by KemperSports, with opportunities to grow within the team and contribute to memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred) to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Previous bartending or banquet service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and responsible beverage service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required alcohol service certification.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with event specifications and company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event.
• Follow all state and local alcohol service laws, including checking guest identification and practicing responsible service.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely when required.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations before and after events.
• Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Work collaboratively with banquet staff, event coordinators, and management to ensure smooth event operations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.
