In this role, you will provide excellent service to function guests by greeting guests and responding to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner. You will mix and garnish beverages according to standards, check guests for proper identification, and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations. You will accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers. You will stock and maintain the bar, including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce. You will also cut, store, and ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables, monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of the service bar, bar tables, stations, and service areas, and perform other duties or projects as needed.
Requirements include basic reading, writing, and math skills with some experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently stand up and move about the work area, handle objects and equipment to maintain the facility, bend, stoop, and kneel, and work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
