George Mason University is seeking a Manager for Banner Central Support within Information Technology Services in Fairfax, VA. The role leads daily operations for Banner development, customization, and support, ensuring work aligns with university priorities, security requirements, and service levels.

The ideal candidate will supervise Banner developers, provide technical direction, and coordinate with functional offices, database admins, and security staff to deliver reliable Banner ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Significant experience with enterprise applications in higher education, including development, production support, testing, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading technical work, coordinating priorities, and supervising staff in an IT environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and relational databases; familiar with change management and documentation standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily operational supervision for the Banner Central Support team, setting priorities and ensuring timely delivery of development and support activities.
• Coach and evaluate Banner developers and technical staff; conduct performance reviews and address workload concerns.
• Mentor staff on Banner, reporting, automation, and integrations to build technical expertise.
• Coordinate with offices and IT teams to deliver reliable Banner solutions aligned with standards and priorities.
• Oversee production support, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure service reliability.
