Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership and ability to practice in federal courts.
• Experience litigating bankruptcy matters and enforcement actions.
• Ability to supervise private trustees and coordinate with court staff.
• Appellate litigation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bankruptcy cases filed in the Region and field office.
• Litigate issues arising in bankruptcy matters including enforcement and plan confirmations.
• Supervise private trustees and coordinate with auditors and staff.
• Handle appellate matters and report to senior program leadership.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other agencies on criminal activity identified through oversight.
