Formación

• Applicants must hold a J.D. from an accredited law school and have the minimum post–law degree experience or relevant experience involving client advocacy and bankruptcy law.
• Minimum post‑J.D. legal experience: GS-13: 1.5 years; GS-14: 2.5 years; GS-15: 4 years.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee bankruptcy cases filed in the Region and field office.
• Litigate issues in chapter 11 cases, including governance, fee applications, and plan confirmation.
• Litigate civil enforcement matters in consumer bankruptcy cases and discharge objections.
• Assist with appellate matters and coordinate with federal/state agencies.
• Collaborate with national offices to develop uniform bankruptcy policies.
• Supervise private trustees administering Chapter 7, 13, 11, Subchapter V, and 12 cases.
