Qualifications

• Spanish language ability is a plus.

• A 2-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school (≈64 credit hours) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts affected by bankruptcy, including notices and correspondence with trustees and attorneys.
• Assist with charge off preparation and approvals, posting transactions and notifying the board of discrepancies.
• Monitor garnishments, liens, and levies; maintain proper filing, imaging and indexing of required documents.
• Administer non-resident alien accounts for compliance, tax reporting, and IRS form preparation (e.g., 1042-S, 1099-C).
• Assist with civil legal referrals and manage cases from referral to recovery of funds.
• Review system changes impacting the charge off process and provide input on effects.
