Bright Line Counsel LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a senior Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join our firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group. The role features a hybrid work arrangement after the initial ramp-up and a dedicated mentorship program leading to a clearly defined partnership track.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience handling complex bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, and related M&A or creditor negotiations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
• Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, M&A transactions, and creditor negotiations.
• Admitted to practice law in Georgia.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Handle Chapter 11 proceedings and related restructurings
• Support M&A transactions arising in the bankruptcy context
• Lead and participate in creditor negotiations
• Engage in mentorship and career development activities through the firm's associate program

Our AmLaw 100 law firm client has an immediate need for a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate to join their Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group in their Atlanta, GA office. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement after the initial period, along with a unique career development program designed to enhance mentorship and provide a clearly defined partnership track.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate for this senior-level position will have 2-5 years of experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders in complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, M&A transactions, and creditor negotiations is desired. A portable book of business is not required.

Pay range and compensation package:

The compensation range for this position is between $250,000 and $390,000.
