A well-respected Atlanta mid-sized law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney with 3+ years of bankruptcy experience to join its Commercial Litigation & Restructuring Practice Group. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney who wants to work on sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters while building a broader commercial litigation practice, all within a collaborative environment that offers BigLaw-caliber work without the traditional BigLaw lifestyle.
This associate will work closely with experienced attorneys on complex bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and litigation matters, with opportunities to take on meaningful responsibility and develop a blended practice. Bankruptcy experience is required, but prior commercial litigation experience is not. The firm is willing to teach the litigation side to an attorney who is interested in expanding their practice.
Prior commercial litigation experience is welcome but not required. The firm is open to an associate with a strong bankruptcy background who is interested in expanding into commercial litigation.
The firm is made up largely of former BigLaw attorneys who wanted to continue handling sophisticated matters for sophisticated clients while building a more sustainable, collaborative practice. This opportunity is particularly well suited to an associate who enjoys bankruptcy work and wants to broaden their practice into commercial litigation without sacrificing the quality of work, compensation, or professional development.
