Job summary

Orion Placement in Philadelphia seeks a highly capable attorney to join a well-established law firm’s bankruptcy and business reorganization practice. You will handle Chapter 11 matters, draft sophisticated pleadings, and collaborate with experienced litigators on complex restructurings, with courtroom exposure and meaningful responsibility.

This full-time role requires Pennsylvania bar admission and at least two years of litigation experience; New Jersey or Delaware admission is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania bar admission required.
• 2+ years of attorney litigation experience required.
• Bankruptcy, Chapter 11, restructuring, insolvency, or business reorganization experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable handling litigation matters and appearing in court.
• New Jersey or Delaware bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle bankruptcy, business reorganization, restructuring, and related litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, agreements, and other sophisticated legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop practical strategies for complex client matters.
• Participate in hearings, court appearances, negotiations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Work closely with partners and other attorneys on Chapter 11 and restructuring matters.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide responsive, business minded legal counsel.
• Manage deadlines and multiple matters while maintaining excellent organization and attention to detail.
