Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking an experienced attorney for a full‑time bankruptcy and restructuring practice in Philadelphia, joining a well established law firm. You will handle Chapter 11 matters, draft sophisticated documents, and interact with clients, gaining courtroom exposure.

The ideal candidate is admitted to the PA bar with 2+ years of litigation experience; bankruptcy/restructuring experience is preferred. In-person collaboration is valued, with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania bar admission required.
• 2+ years of attorney litigation experience required.
• Bankruptcy, Chapter 11, restructuring, insolvency, or business reorganization experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable handling litigation matters and appearing in court.
• New Jersey or Delaware bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle bankruptcy, business reorganization, restructuring, and related litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, agreements, and other sophisticated legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop practical strategies for complex client matters.
• Participate in hearings, court appearances, negotiations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Work closely with partners and other attorneys on Chapter 11 and restructuring matters.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide responsive, business minded legal counsel.
• Manage deadlines and multiple matters while maintaining excellent organization and attention to detail.
