Job summary

COA Network Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a full-time Bankruptcy Attorney to join our growing team. You will handle diverse bankruptcy and restructuring matters, advising creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders.

This role requires a JD, PA admission or eligibility, and experience in Chapter 7/11/13, with strong research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.

On-site in Philadelphia with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission.
• Prior bankruptcy/restructuring experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• On-site in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Handle bankruptcy and restructuring matters involving creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders.
• Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and review transactional documents related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues.
• Assist partners with case strategy, negotiations, and resolution of bankruptcy matters.
• Make regular appearances in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and legal issues.
• Manage case deadlines, filings, and multiple matters simultaneously.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys across different practice groups.
• Participate in business development initiatives as needed.
