Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bankruptcy Paralegal on behalf of our client, a national leader in bankruptcy case administration and legal services support. This interim, full-time, onsite opportunity in Woodland Hills, CA is ideal for a detail-driven legal professional who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled in Excel, and eager to take ownership of critical case documentation, communications, and project tracking. This is a great opportunity for someone with knowledge of bankruptcy law.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and process case data, schedules, and statements of financial affairs (SOFAs).
  • Prepare and maintain tracking sheets, workbooks, and updated documentation for client approval.
  • Coordinate the setup of case-specific tools such as 800 numbers, case websites, and automated messaging.
  • Communicate with clients to gather outstanding materials and provide regular case updates.
  • Review and assist with preparation of disclosure statements, ballots, and solicitation packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on noticing, claims, and affidavits of service (AOS).
  • Serve as a main point of contact for client inquiries via email and phone.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while tracking timelines and delegating tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bankruptcy legal experience highly preferred; legal assistants and executive legal support professionals encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, work overtime, and maintain flexibility with changing schedules.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to independently organize, troubleshoot, and execute tasks under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

This is a full-time, interim, onsite opportunity based in Woodland Hills, CA, offering an hourly rate of $40$45/hour DOE.Additionally, medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
