Job summary

Thrivas in Florida is seeking a Bankruptcy Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support an Associate handling Chapter 7 & 13 proceedings. You will prepare initial drafts of bankruptcy filings, answer client calls, confirm appointments, and manage the attorney calendar.

Applicants should have paralegal or legal secretary experience and a completed Paralegal Certificate with some bankruptcy knowledge. The role is full-time with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Completed Paralegal Certificate with some BK knowledge.
• Experience as Paralegal/Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary or Administrative background.

Responsibilities

• Support the attorney in all Chapter 7 & 13 Bankruptcy proceedings.
• Prepare initial draft of bankruptcy filings.
• Assist in answering client calls, confirm appointments, and manage attorney calendar.
• Maintain an organized workflow and professional communication.
