BCG Attorney Search in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Bankruptcy and Estates and Trusts Attorney who will independently manage cases and provide strategic counsel to clients. The role involves handling consumer bankruptcy matters and drafting estate plans with a focus on client service.

The ideal candidate will represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings, maintain meticulous files, and collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver results.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Maryland Bar license in good standing.
• Experience in Bankruptcy and/or Estates and Trusts law preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload and appear in court independently.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Experience with legal practice-management technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload involving consumer bankruptcy and estates and trusts matters.
• Represent clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
• Attend bankruptcy hearings and meetings of creditors.
• Counsel clients on bankruptcy options and debt relief strategies.
• Handle estate planning, including drafting wills and trusts.
• Advise on estate and trust planning and administration.
• Maintain accurate case files and billing records.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
