BCG Attorney Search in Montgomery, AL seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney to guide clients through restructuring and insolvency, ensuring ethical navigation of proceedings.

You will represent clients in Chapter 7 and 13 filings, draft petitions and pleadings, advise on debt restructuring, and collaborate with colleagues.

JD required, Alabama Bar admission, travel to nearby offices; no bankruptcy experience required but ADR skills and strong interpersonal abilities are desirable.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in Alabama.
• Licensed or able to be licensed in Alabama.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent legal writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in consumer bankruptcy filings, negotiations, and court proceedings (Chapter 7/13).
• Draft and review petitions, motions, contracts, and pleadings.
• Advise clients on debt restructuring options and asset protection strategies.
• Manage case files using legal case management systems and maintain meticulous records.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive counsel.
• Communicate with clients, creditor attorneys, opposing counsel, trustees, and the courts.
