Foundation Finance Company seeks a Bankruptcy Support Specialist to oversee bankruptcy accounts, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while coordinating with courts, trustees, attorneys, and internal teams. The role focuses on accurate reporting and protection of company assets.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years in bankruptcy or loan servicing, with proficiency in relevant software including Word, Excel and internet tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in bankruptcy, loan servicing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in loan servicing or case management software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet software.

Responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and manage bankruptcy-related accounts in the portfolio with compliance.
• Prepare case notes and file bankruptcy documents including proofs of claim and discharge paperwork.
• Serve as liaison with courts, trustees, attorneys, and internal departments.
• Track and report bankruptcy case status, recoveries, and risks to management.
• Monitor payment plans and adjust repayments post-bankruptcy as required by court orders.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures related to bankruptcy processing and recovery.
• Identify risk exposure and suggest loss mitigation and debt recovery strategies.
• Take inbound/transfer calls to support Account Servicing for bankruptcy questions.
