Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive bankruptcy and restructuring experience.
• Experience advising creditors, investors, lenders, or other stakeholders in complex restructuring matters.
• Strong academic credentials from a Top 20 law school.
• Prior experience at a Top 30 Am Law firm.

Responsibilities

• Work on large-scale Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings.
• Participate in in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
• Handle cross-border insolvency matters and multinational restructurings.
• Represent various creditor groups and stakeholders.
• Engage in complex bankruptcy litigation, including trial and appeals.

Financial Restructuring Associate (3+ Years) | New York or Dallas

Candidates do not need to be currently admitted in New York or Texas to be considered

Join a nationally recognized Financial Restructuring practice handling some of the most sophisticated bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters in the market.

Our client is seeking associates with 4-7 years of bankruptcy and restructuring experience to advise creditors, investors, lenders, hedge funds, bondholders, distressed companies, and other stakeholders in complex domestic and cross-border matters.

What You'll Work On

• Large-scale Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings
• In-court and out-of-court restructurings
• Cross-border insolvency matters and multinational restructurings
• Representation of first and second lien lenders, bondholders, hedge funds, and creditor groups
• Complex bankruptcy litigation, including trial and appellate matters
• High-profile distressed situations across multiple industries and jurisdictions

Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive bankruptcy and restructuring experience
• Experience representing creditors, investors, distressed companies, lenders, or other stakeholders in complex restructuring matters
• Strong academic credentials from a Top 20 law school
• Prior experience at a Top 30 Am Law firm
• Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
