A working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure is expected, with training available for capable candidates new to bankruptcy. Candidates should be located in Atlanta, GA or within a commutable distance.

Qualifications

• JD required and GA bar admission.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy rules and creditor rights laws.
• Experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13.
• Located in Atlanta, GA or commutable distance.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine bankruptcy matters.
• Draft and review pleadings and claims.
• Attend scheduled hearings.
• Respond to firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.
• Review client filings.
• Monitor electronic filings (ECFs).
• Resolve routine bankruptcy matters.
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.
