Middlesex Savings Bank is seeking a Banker Trainee to represent the bank, learn transactions processing, account servicing, and advisory skills to meet customer needs. The training path leads to a Banker I role.

The position covers Framingham, Hudson, Maynard, Southborough, Westborough and Worcester, with emphasis on delivering excellent customer experiences and promoting bank products. Strong math, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or some college preferred.
• 6–12 months cash handling or customer service experience required.
• Basic math principles knowledge and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of customer needs and promotes relevant bank products.
• Provides excellent customer service while processing transactions and account openings/servicing.
• Works with branch team to implement policies and support objectives.
• Maintains accuracy and compliance with security and risk protocols.
• Manages time, prioritizes tasks, and communicates clearly with customers and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends; able to sit, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
